Manual stacking of bagged lawn 'n garden products, especially bark mulch products, can often lead to operator back injuries.
In fact, 50% of all reported workmens'compensations claims in the bark 'n soil industry are due to back-related injuries.
You should consider one of the following alternatives to manual stacking:

To facilitate stacking of bags, a semi-automatic palletizer, with hydraulic pallet-load lifts, will reduce chance of
operator injuries due to repetitive lifting.

AUTOMATIC PALLETIZER:
Fully automatic palletizers replace an operator, used on semi-automatic
models, with an automatic bag accumulating and bag pacing module. They afford higher speeds, but also require more space.

ROBOTIC STACKING SYSTEM:
Where space does not permit a conventional
palletizer, perhaps you should consider an automatic robotic stacker (right), which will stack bags or compressed bales, and
the system can be equipped with automatic, empty pallet and slip sheet dispensers, along with infeed and discharge conveyors.

The ideal wrapper for lawn 'n garden products is the Model WCA-200 (left), which can be equipped with an "in-cycle" (wrap
load, spread sheet, then wrap again) poly top sheet dispenser, along with the process conveyor. This can be easily integrated
with either automatic palletizing or robotic stacking.
