Portable Bagger, Poly Bag Sealer & Automatic Form-Fill-Seal The "MultiBagger" (photo left) is particularly efficient for use at multiple composting sites, and can be equipped with a towing package. It comes with two-cubic-yard hopper and internal auger driven by 11 H.P. motor, and will produce approximately 500 bags/hour, and cost less than $25,000! For closing poly bags, a continuous, hot air sealer, such as the Crown CML-100 (photo above) is preferred. It comes with a variable speed D.C. drive, is normally right-to-left bag infeed, and can be equipped with bag-top trimmer, seal cooler, casters and date coder, along with a 12-14-foot bag-transport conveyor. For higher speed production and lower labor costs, consider the B&C vertical form-fill-seal machine (photo left), which can be equipped with electronic, net weigh scale, or volumetric doser overhead. The Model CV-3080 fills and seals bags (10-85 liters, or 20-50 pounds) automatically at some 10-22 bags/minute, depending on product flow and bag size! Automatic bag stacking will further reduce labor and prevent employee injuries from such repetitive job functions, and palletizers, such as the TMG Model Sirio80 low-level machine (below), can be designed for some 900 bags/hour, each featuring automatic bag-flattening, pallet and slip sheet dispensing.
