The photos you will see in this website reflect some of the ways that I have tried to capture the moment in travels throughout
the world. They don't do justice to actually being there, experiencing the scenery yourself, but somehow photographs transport
us in a special way either back to where we've been, or perhaps where we would like to go.
While walking through Venice just recently, I happened upon this scene at the right, and I thought about how strange it would
be to have to leave the house and get into a gondola, or a vaporetto, enroute to the office. No autos allowed in Venice!
